The UP- Volunteering programs will be based all over east Africa but currently it’s in Tanzania and has volunteer placements located in rural and urban Tanzanian communities and villages. Volunteer programs are available all times around the cycle. Volunteers can choose to volunteer for period ranging from 1 week to 16 weeks; If more time needed can be communicated and arranged.
A responsible volunteering program, UP-Volunteering takes great care to keep volunteers safe. We know that travel to a foreign country can be a little scary and we have developed a comprehensive approach to managing risks across all of our programs that gives volunteers the knowledge and confidence they need to stay safe, secure and we offer escort to some circumstances if needed.
